Our next chapter activity

CMC's next scheduled chapter activity is the Julie Ronning clinic at Suzi Ronning's Thornhill Farm (29895 NE Wilsonville Road, Newberg, OR 97123) on October 16 and 17. To introduce Julie (as clinician, and not "just” Suzi and Ron's lovely daughter), chapter members are receiving their first ride free, courtesy of CMC. The clinic is full, but auditors are welcome (at no cost), so tell dressage your friends to come watch.

Julie began competing in dressage and combined Training as a child. After college, she worked full time for two years as David Blake's assistant (David now works and trains with Steffen and Shannon Peters). For the past year, Julie has had the opportunity to ride for Sabine Schut-Kery at El Campeon in Thousand Oaks. (Blog note: When you see words in pale blue in a post, that indicates a "hot link" which, when clicked on, will take you to another internet site.) Along the way, she has acquired a great deal of experience riding horses from age 3 to FEI, and has taught many riders on their own horses. She is excited about the opportunity to get acquainted and work with riders in her home state.

Can I just say that I think I REALLY need that black horse that Julie is riding in the top photo? Hmmm?

is it just me or does anyone else like to have a lighter background. The white font on black hurts my eyes

I like a lighter background, too, but was having trouble with the other design options. I'll look into it more.
